Islip Arts Council: Music in Historical Houses
Serenade Duo’s program, Reflections of Latin America, is a musical journey that celebrates the spirit of Latin American culture throughout the world. The duo will perform a variety of lyrical compositions for flute and guitar from Argentina, Cuba, Italy, and France. The program features tangos, milongas, fantasias, and suites created by living composers, as well as the Duo’s original arrangement of Astor Piazzolla’s legendary work, Libertango.
